Quick Cards

Just a couple of quick cards today as I seem to have been so busy with us having the student that all I have done is a couple for a friend. The cupcake is from CUP and another of my fave Forever Friends.

For the time being we are back to normal so hopefully I will be able to crack on properly!!

Also just a quick pic of the 'outside' cats - what a cute family?!? The second baby has just managed to get over the fence (with a little help of a ramp), not got a photo of him... yet!

Bye for now, Clare

Wedding Card

Another post, can't believe it! I've had a mega day, got the wedding card done and entered the SSC Challenge on the DoCrafts site, here is the wedding card

And here is the challenge card.

We have a Turkish student here at the moment, for 10 days. They do a course here in town and to help them with their english they stay with english families. So don't know how much crafting I'm going to get done over the next week or so, I also have my table top sale on Sunday. Did I come out here for a quiet life???

Hopefully will be back soon, Clare

What's going on with my pictures

I really don't know what is going on with my pictres, those Tilda pictures were identical, only when I put them on here one is the wrong way up!!

Oh well as I said before either tilt head or laptop!!

While I'm here I've put a pic on of Clare's Challenge from the DoCrafts site.

I'm working on an order for a friend who's got a wedding in the family so will post that as soon as I get finished.

Got my first Tilda!!

I've been after a Tilda stamp for ages now but was rather nervous about the colouring, so I ordered one and a few of my first copics (a day for firsts) and here are the results - slightly tanned Tilda tho, but hey we're in Turkey we're all tanned lol!!

Post It Pads

Hi there, it's been so long since my last post, I really don't know where the time goes! I've been trying to crack on with my Christmas cards and stay cool at the same time - just feels so wrong!!

Right so I've made 4 Post It Pads, using Clare Curd's tutorial, I did them all on the same theme, just changing the colours and embellishments.

I've also been over to Pink Petticoat (again) and purchased the baby Giraffe and Elephant and the bubbles paper, I love that one so much as you can probably tell!!

I hope these pictures are the correct way around this time!

Ha, my first Christmas cards for this year

I did actually manage to get some christmas cards made despite the heat! The snowflakes are from Marianne Design, bought through the lovely Nikki at Bunny Zoe's Crafts, she's the first person I've found that will deliver to me here and not charge the earth!! The greeting is Magnolia, and I just kept them simple using the same ink for the greeting as for the snowflakes, with some matching gems in the corner.

I havent got much done over the last few days, my printer ran out of ink then the new cartridge wasn't working properly and to top it all the internet went down! I did get some little notelets made but no pictures taken yet, will do that soon. I did manage to get a picture of another new friend, I called him Monty the Praying Mantis!

Thanks for visiting, Clare

Clare's Sketch Challenge / Special friend card

I needed to do a card for a special friend and when I saw Clare's Sketch challenge I decided I could kill 2 birds with one stone.

I used the goegeous papers from Pink Petticoat with the greeting cut out using nesties, cream organza ribbon and blue satin ribbon then a flower with the build a brad with the matching blue paper inside.

Really want to get on with my christmas cards but at 9:30am it's already 35 degrees it really doesn't feel right!!

Notepads

I finally got them finished, you know what it's like, you start on one thing then end up starting another, but they're finished now and they look much better, I embossed the butterfly with holographic powder so it shines lovely in the sun.

I'm working on Clare's Challenge for the DoCrafts site at the moment so hopefully will have that on soon.
